PiriReis Association is a voluntary civil society organisation that brings together professionals working in surveying engineering, real estate and geographic information systems, along with students preparing for careers in these fields. Our purpose is to share professional knowledge and experience, keep pace with technical developments, strengthen collaboration and undertake work that benefits society. Training, professional gatherings, publications and activities for students are all part of this approach.
Our Working Principles
We conduct all our activities in accordance with professional ethics, scientific accuracy, transparency, voluntary participation and the public interest. Our association brings engineers, academics, students, public institutions, local authorities and private-sector representatives together on a shared professional platform, supporting the exchange of knowledge and experience through training, technical events, scientific meetings, and social and cultural activities. We do not act on behalf of any individual, organisation or commercial interest, nor do we promise our members employment, income, titles or privileges. PiriReis Association is a voluntary professional organisation founded in 2000 to strengthen knowledge sharing, professional solidarity and public benefit in surveying engineering and the spatial sciences.
